Privacy Policy — Bulk Exporter for ChatGPT – Markdown, JSON, ZIP

Bulk Exporter for ChatGPT ("the extension") is made by an independent developer. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean the developer of Bulk Exporter for ChatGPT. The extension is not a FlagMyLease product and is not affiliated with OpenAI. This page is hosted on flagmylease.com, and the contact address matt@flagmylease.com reaches the developer.

What the extension accesses, and why

• Your chats on chatgpt.com. When you click Load chats or Export in the popup, the extension's script on chatgpt.com requests your conversation list and conversations from the site's own endpoints (chatgpt.com/backend-api/…), using the login you already have in that tab. On ChatGPT it reads the session access token from chatgpt.com/api/auth/session and sends it only back to chatgpt.com. That token is kept in memory only and is never stored or sent anywhere else.
• Where the data goes. Chats are turned into Markdown and JSON in your browser and saved as files to your computer. Text of exported chats is kept in your browser's IndexedDB storage for this extension so you can search it. It is never uploaded, synced, or shared.
• Local settings. Export progress and your cached license status are kept in chrome.storage.local.

What we do not do

• We have no servers that receive your chats, prompts, tokens, or browsing data. There is no analytics, advertising, or tracking. We do not sell or transfer user data, and we do not use it for anything other than the export and search features described here.

Payments and license checks (ExtensionPay + Stripe)

• ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) handles Pro purchases using Stripe: a $5.99/month subscription or a $29 one-time lifetime license. Card details go to Stripe only. You can cancel or manage a subscription at any time from the extension's popup (Manage subscription), which opens ExtensionPay's page.
• ExtensionPay gives each install a random, anonymous license key, stored in extension storage and sent to extensionpay.com to check whether you have paid. If you buy, ExtensionPay/Stripe collect your email and payment details, and the developer, as the seller, receives your email and purchase record. • Card statements may show the merchant name FLAGMY.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use: Our use of information received through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Refunds and cancellation

• Refunds: email matt@flagmylease.com within 14 days of any charge for a full refund, no questions asked.
• Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime from "Manage subscription" in the popup; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Deleting your data

Delete the ZIP/Markdown files you downloaded as you would any other file. Removing the extension deletes its IndexedDB search index and local storage. To have purchase records removed, contact us at the address above.
